1. Who we are
Nice Educational Welfare Society ("NEWS", "we", "us") is a non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act, established in 2010, with its registered office at Mallapally, Shanti Nagar, Nizamabad, Telangana, India 503001 and an operational hub at Santosh Nagar, Champapet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India 500059. This policy applies to the website nicecharity.org and all offline programmes run by the Society, including AL-Quranic International School.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information necessary to deliver our programmes and acknowledge donations: name, postal address, email address, telephone number, PAN (where required for 80G receipts), donation amount and payment reference, admission enquiry details submitted through our forms, and basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
3. How we use your information
Your information is used to process and acknowledge donations, issue 80G tax-exemption receipts, respond to admission and partnership enquiries, share programme updates and annual reports with consenting supporters, and to comply with statutory reporting under Indian law, including the Income Tax Act.
4. Payment information
Online donations are processed by regulated banks and payment gateways. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or net-banking credentials on our servers. Payment details are handled directly by the payment processor under their own security standards.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Information is shared only with our bank and payment processors, our statutory auditors, and government authorities where disclosure is required by law. Photographs of beneficiaries are published only with appropriate consent and never with identifying personal contact details.
6. Data security and retention
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data. Donation and receipt records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and audit regulations; other records are retained only as long as necessary for the purpose collected.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may unsubscribe from our communications at any time by writing to info@nicewelfare.org. Deletion requests are honoured except where records must be retained for statutory compliance.
8. Children's privacy
Information relating to students of AL-Quranic International School is collected from and shared only with parents or legal guardians, and is used strictly for admission, academic, welfare and safety purposes.
